Kim Kardashian Took Breathing Lessons for Snatched Met Gala Look
Reality TV star/beauty mogul Kim Kardashian is known for pushing the envelope when it comes to her wardrobe choices, but we had no idea just how grueling her slippery-when-wet Met Gala look was for her.
Kim literally brought the drip for this year’s “camp” theme with her Thierry Mugler rain corset dress.

Kim Kardashian addressed the look on Instagram, revealing that she had to take breathing lessons to safely wear the snatched corset.
Her caption read:
“@kimkardashian The day that I found out the Met Gala theme was “camp”, that same day we called @manfredthierrymugler the King of Camp! We met up in Miami right after the holidays last year and saw the sketches! I learned so much about couture from this genius man, it was beyond couture, it was art!”
She continued:
“7 months in the making and fittings in Montreal, Paris and LA. Corset breathing lessons from none other than Mr. Pearl. It was worth it all!!! And this was the start of a magical inspiring connection. Stay tuned for more”

When Vogue posted footage of Kim explaining how excruciating the corset was, many commented on how it sends a bad message to young women about body image.
