Remy Ma & Safaree Facing Lawsuit From Foundation For Breaking Agreement, Forcing Organization To Cancel Concert
A Chicago organization for the city’s youth is not happy with Remy Ma and Safaree. Both Love & Hip Hop stars are accused of breaking a contract agreement they signed in reference to a performance they were going to do for the Circle Foundation, a mentorship program for the youth in the Windy City.
Remy Ma and Safaree were supposed to perform on April 21, 2018 at the Wintrust Arena. Remy Ma reportedly received a $35,000 deposit while Safaree got $7,250 as an act of good faith from the organization. But things went left after Remy Ma and Safaree allegedly broke a clause in the agreement that said they could not perform within a 60-mile radius of the venue for 30 days prior to the event.
Remy Ma was spotted rocking the stage at the Black Women’s Expo in Chicago on April 8, while Safaree performed at the Rockin’ Horse Saloon & Grill just outside of Chicago on April 14.

The Circle Foundation requested both of them to return the deposits, accusing them of breaking the contract. The organization now says Remy Ma and Safaree ignored it. Now, it wants the money back. So, it filed a lawsuit against them.
Remy Ma’s lawyer did release a statement and said he is,
“unaware of any purported legal action filed but, if such action is initiated she will respond accordingly.”
