Khloe Kardashian has possibly bared more than ever about her breakup with Tristan Thompson. In a recent interview, she discusses the breakup with the NBA player, who is also the father of her daughter True Thompson.

For a brief refresher, Kardashian and Tristan were going strong for more than a year when they announced they were pregnant with their daughter, True.

But about a week Kardashian gave birth in April 2018, Tristan was caught in a scandal as alleged footage of him cheating on Kardashian surfaced and went viral. They made it past that and reconciled.

But it looks like they’re over for good after Jordyn Woods, the best friend of Kardashian’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, was rumored to have hooked up with Tristan back in March. Now, Kardashian is opening up about their breakup like never before.

She said that because their breakup is recent, she has to make more of an effort to control her feelings.

“It does f***ing suck, it does. There’s moments that, because our personal emotions are still in there – for me, Tristan and I broke up not too long ago so it’s really raw. Those emotions can be heightened at times. So I do everything within my power to not even bring… “

She said it’s especially important to control them when it concerns their daughter.

“True is one and like a month old. So she doesn’t really know what’s happening. But to me, she does know. She feels energy and I’m a big believer of that, so I do everything in my power to not put any sort of heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds a little too bohemian to some people, but…”

She explained that that’s why she was okay with Tristan attending True’s first birthday celebration last month.

She explains,

“The party was really for me, I wanted a happy, heavenly place. eI know that she’s going to want to look back at all of her childhood memories like we all do… Me and my sisters, we will sit on the floor, looking at our old photo albums. We don’t remember, we remember what our parents told us. And we act like we know everything about this photo, and I want to give her the same thing. I know her dad is a great person, I know how much he loves her an cares about her, so I want him to be there. And it was civilized… and we did it.”
