Lil’ Nas X Travels To The Hood In ‘Old Town Road’ Video Ft. Billy Ray Cyrus & Chris Rock
Got the horses in the back! The Lil Nas X (real name Montero Hill) number one smash officially has a video as the 20-year-old rapper released the ‘Old Town Road’ video co-starring Billy Ray Cyrus on Friday.

In the video, directed by Calmatic, Nas X takes a ‘Django Unchained’ approach going back in time to 1889 while on the run with a bag of money.

After being spotted, Nas X travels all the way to the present day inner-city hood, which leads to some hilarious reactions from onlookers as he rides his horse through the neighborhood.

The highly anticipated video mashes the old with the new as Nas X goes from Django to the guy next door becoming a beloved fixture of the community. Along the way, Nas X and Cyrus crashes what looks to be a cowboy-themed old folks’ bingo night at the local town hall.

Nas X’s video features cameos from the likes of Chris Rock, Haha Davis, Rico Nasty, Diplo, Jozzy, Young Kio, and Vince Staples.
As one of the year’s biggest hits, ‘Old Town Road‘ still remains the number one record on the Billboard Hot 100 for the last 10 weeks. In addition, Nas X’s hit song has gained a total of over 100 million streams per week since April 20, with 104 million on streaming services this week alone. The song broke a record previously held by Drake’s “In My Feelings” for the greatest number of streams in one week.
