Cardi B’s ongoing legal case involving an alleged strip club attack last fall has taken a dramatic turn for the worse—and could result in the hip hop superstar actually doing some jail time. Cardi was reportedly indicted by a grand jury on multiple felony charges for the incident.
Cardi B has continued to enjoy an enormous amount of success in a very short time, shooting her to the tops of the celebrity A-List, unfortunately there has been a dark cloud surrounding her happiness and it has officially reached its peak.

According to reports, the alleged strip club attack that occurred last fall in New York City between Cardi B and two bartender sisters, has now caused Cardi to be indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges including a pair of felonies.
A New York grand jury has indicted Cardi on 14 charges, including two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Other charges include misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.
Prosecutors previously stated that they decided to take the case to the grand jury based on information they uncovered during their investigation, although they didn’t divulge what the information was.

She was initially charged with two misdemeanors, for assault and reckless endangerment, but now that the grand jury is involved, that’s over. Cardi also rejected a plea deal offer during the early stages of the case. If she had accepted, it would have given her a conditional discharge in return for pleading guilty to a single misdemeanor.
Meanwhile, Cardi isn’t letting her legal drama slow down her career, as she appeared in good spirits at the recent ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills, where she won for Songwriter of the Year alongside husband Offset.
