Doja Cat Admits She Contracted COVID-19 After Making Fun Of Precautions Online: I Had Symptoms For 4 Days, But I’m Fine Now
Doja Cat recently admitted that she was one of several celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19. In an interview with Capital XTRA, Doja Cat revealed she was diagnosed with COVID-19 at one point. She possibly attributes the spread to a Postmates delivery:
“I got COVID. Honestly, I don’t know how this happens, but I guess I ordered something off of Postmates and I don’t know how I got it, but I got it.”
She continued:
“I’m okay now. It was a four-day symptom freakout, but I’m fine now.”
Before her diagnosis, she infamously made fun of people in fear of the coronavirus on Instagram this past March. She even said she would refuse to take proper precautions to avoid contracting the virus:
“I’m gonna get corona and then I’m gonna get a Corona, cause I don’t give a f*ck about corona, b*tch! It’s a flu! Ya’ll are p*ssies. You just take some Mucinex and drink water and tea and sleep — that’s all you gotta do.”
Her social media usage has received lots of attention. She was called out for being caught participating in a chatroom allegedly fueled by racist jokes this past May.
