Momma’s gotta have a life, too! Rap superstar Nicki Minaj‘s mom, Carol Maraj, wants to make her own mark on the music industry.

Nicki often credits her mother for her love for gospel music – which spawned Carol’s first single. In 2014, she released a gospel song called, “God’s Been Good.”

Well, Momma Minaj is back – but this time with a house-inspired track called, “What Makes You.” She recently announced her single with an Instagram post. Carol told her followers:
