Tommie Released From Jail, Thanks Fans For Their Support
Tommie is a free woman! The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star was released after more than three months in jail.
She shared the news with her fans on social media.
“Beyond thankful for all of y’all support thank you! #tommiehome“
She also got love from her fellow celebrities to celebrate her release.

Tommie had been in jail since March. She was charged with abusing her daughter. She was accused of interrupting the child’s class, slapping her in the face and dragging her by her hair. Tommie also allegedly slammed her against a locker. She could have spent more than 50 years in prison.
Interestingly enough, she was actually put in jail after showing up intoxicated to a court appearance for the case. She failed a court-ordered drug test and blew a 0.16 during a breathalyzer, which is twice the legal limit. It was also a violation of the terms of her bond. She was arrested after that.
She later issued an apology.
“I’ve been working really hard through my problems considering the challenges that’s been set before me since I’ve been home. I’ve done all that I can do on my own to shake my habits but I do realize that I need help and I am currently seeking treatment.”

It’s not clear what the status of her child abuse case is.
