EXCLUSIVE: CeeLo Green To Appear On ‘Marriage Boot Camp’

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that CeeLo Green(real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway) will be allegedly taking his talents to reality TV. Sources tell us that the 44-year-old artist will allegedly appear on WeTV’s upcoming season of “Marriage Boot Camp.”

The reality show, which has several installments like “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” and “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition,” features five couples on the brink of a breakup. They are assigned several exercises that will help determine if they want to stay together or break up for good. It first aired on May 31, 2013.

CeeLo is a recording artist and producer and is known for his hits like “Crazy”, “Forget You” and “Fool For You” just to name a few.

It’s not clear who he’ll allegedly be on the show with, but he’s no stranger to reality TV. He had his own reality show “CeeLo Green’s The Good Life,” back in 2014.

But that series was shortlived as his sexual assault allegations resurfaced. He was accused in 2012 of slipping ecstasy into a woman’s drink and then assaulting her. But sparked even more controversy when tweeted in August 2014,

“If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent.”

While he deleted the tweet, the network still dropped the series after being pressured by several petitions and organizations. The charges against him were later dropped.

CeeLo was also an original judge on NBC’s “The Voice” when it premiered in 2011.

He left in 2014 and said back then that it was because,

“It easily and quickly became a job. Very, very obligating… Taxing and tiring…”

As for his relationship history, CeeLo was previously married to a woman named Christina Johnson, who appeared on VH1’s “Atlanta Exes” in 2014.

Most recently, he was engaged to his longtime girlfriend Shani James. He kept the engagement a secret for a year and opened up about it for the first time in 2015. He and James had been together for four years at that time.

It hasn’t been confirmed if she’s who he’ll be on “Marriage Boot Camp” with.
