Saweetie Says She’ll Take Over After #HotGirlSummer Ends With #IcyGirlWinter

While #HotGirlSummer was certainly a vibe (and still is), the weather is starting to cool down and many are starting to wonder what’s next.

Saweetie told fans to look no further. She’s ready to take over with#IcyGirlWinter.

When asked what ladies can do for the winter, Saweetie responded with,

“I got yall”

She also retweeted a fan who asked,

“It’s an #ICYGIRL winter @Saweetie. Right sis?”

But some fans said an #IcyGirlWinter is not what they want.

Saweetie responded to the backlash and said,

“I see it’s a trend to hop on this ‘I don’t like Saweetie train’ but imma still get these platinum plaques and keep hittin these charts #ICYGANG“

Megan Thee Stallion fans, known as the Hot Girls, kept the movement strong all summer.

Megan said last month,

“Being a Hot Girl is about being unapologetically YOU, having fun, being confident, living YOUR truth, being the life of the party etc”

It got the point where she filed an application to trademark the phrase.

She said recently,

“It’s going — it’s not a day process. I didn’t even think that it would be something that was this big. I just be talking. The Hotties run with it and love it, now everybody is a Hottie. I’m flattered. I appreciate it: spread the awareness, spread the movement.”

She even Nicki Minaj also released the “Hot Girl Summer” single Friday, so it looks like it’ll be a while before the vibe dies down.
