Sela Vave Is ‘The Future Beyonce’, According To Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx has high hopes for his artist, Sela Vave. After shutting down rumors that they were dating multiple times, new reports say that Foxx is claiming the aspiring singer will fill Beyonce’s shoes.

One source said,

“Jamie is saying that Sela is an amazing singer, that she’s ‘the future ­Beyoncé.’ He’s introducing her to his friends in the music and entertainment industry — and getting her to sing on the spot to show off her talents.”

The insider saw the two together recently and added,

“Jamie seemed very attentive to Sela and excited to show her off.”

This comes after both Foxx and Vave denied speculation that they are a couple. Foxx broke his silence on the rumors and said,

“People are saying I’m dating the girl, let me just say this, that’s absolutely not true! That girl hangs out with my kids. My young daughter loves her, my oldest daughter loves her… I talk to her mom, her parents… I know the nature of the business that we’re in, so I don’t trip on headlines, you know what I’m saying, I don’t trip on that.”

“But when it comes to that part and the girl and her and what I’m trying to do for her as an artist. I feel like I have to be an elder, her “Uncle” as she calls me and step in and say ‘Hey guys, don’t let it be the double standard.’ When all these other guys are on the couch, they were hustling and they had dreams. When she’s working in this capcity, all of a sudden she’s some sort of… I’ll say the nice word… using someone to get to the top. And I don’t get down like that.”

“I got a twenty-five year old daughter and I don’t date in my daughters range…ever! I always try to make sure that my daughter can look and me say, ‘Hey dad, you ain’t screwing up.’ I wanted to be able to address that.”

Vave also spoke on the rumors after reports claimed she and Foxx live together. She posted a video of Foxx on Instagram Live explaining that stars like Ed Sheeran and Nick Cannon have slept on his couch before, claiming there’s a double standard when it comes to women in the industry. Vave also added,

“For the people who care… here is the TRUE story(swipe)… for everyone else you can keep talking and calling me a whore, slut, home wrecker, thot, gold digger, that I should die, and what ever else you want. Because it doesn’t matter to me, I’m out here to work and do what I love most. #music#killthedoublestandard“
