Richard Pryor Wanted To Pay Someone $1 Million To Kill Paul Mooney For Allegedly ‘Violating’ His Young Son, Bodyguard Says
Richard Pryor was allegedly ready to end Paul Mooney’s life back in the day. While the two iconic comedians were once close friends, things went all the way left after Pryor reportedly discovered that Mooney “violated” his son, Richard Pryor, Jr. Pryor’s former bodyguard Rashon Kahn revealed the alleged dispute during a sit-down with Comedy Hype. Kahn said Pryor told him he wanted to put out a hit on Mooney and was ready to pay $1 million to do it.
He added that considering Pryor’s alleged drug use at the time, he waited a few days before he confirmed Pryor’s claim. But sure enough, after a few days had passed, Pryor was still just as sure of everything as he was before.
Pryor’s widow, Jennifer Lee Pryor, who was married to the comedian from 2001 until he died in 2005, confirmed Kahn’s statements on Twitter Monday. She also claimed Richard, Jr. confirmed it as well.

Mooney and Richard, Jr. have not publicly responded yet, but fans have certainly gone off on Twitter.
