Happy Birthday, Magic Johnson! The NBA legend gathered his closest friends and family for a lavish weekend celebration in St. Tropez in honor of his 60th birthday. Guests like Richard Lawson, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Vanessa Bell-Calloway, and Stephen A. Smith gathered to honor their friend with an old school music-themed party.

Magic posed with his wife, Cookie, thanking friends for their attendance. He said:

“@magicjohnson Tonight was one of the best old school parties I’ve ever been to. 300 of our closest friends packed the dance floor all night and never sat down. A special thank you to @stephenasmith and @realmikewilbon for joining me for my birthday celebration. I appreciate you both for coming with the NFL season so close.”

But perhaps the highlight of the night was an intense dance battle between the fly girl herself – Jennifer Lopez – and Magic’s fabulous son, E.J. Johnson. Fitting the old school theme, they two-stepped and sashayed to Teena Marie‘s basement party hit, “Square Biz.”
