Jesse Williams Teams Up With Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream To Support Criminal Justice Reform
Who knew you could fight the power with a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s? Actor/activist Jesse Williams teamed up with the ice cream lover’s favorite brand to create a flavor called, “Justice Remixd.” It’s described as:
“…cinnamon and chocolate ice creams with gobs of cinnamon and bun dough and spicy fudge brownies.”
Yum!

Jesse and social justice organization, “The Advancement Project,” are donating all the proceeds from the flavorful concoction to fund legal work for the needy. Ben & Jerry’s gave this statement:
“@benandjerrys NEW FLAVOR! Introducing Justice ReMix’d, a new Limited Batch flavor with a sweet swirl of justice. We’ve partnered with @advancementproject to churn up a flavor to support criminal justice reform and an end to structural racism in our broken criminal legal system. Now that’s sweet!”
