Chilli Receives Backlash After Telling Fan ‘We Don’t Look Alike’

Chilli is kicking off her weekend by trending on Twitter. But it has nothing to do with her music. Instead, she’s getting a little criticism after she busted one fan’s bubble on the social media site.

The fan wrote,

“I get I look like chilli a lot what y’all think?”

Chilli, whose real name is Rozonda Thomas, joined the conversation and responded with,

“Long straight/wavy hair n similar skin tone doesn’t mean u look like someone. Ur a doll but we don’t look alike:)”

She then said her comment was far from rude and added that she thinks the girl is pretty. She also told fans,

“You trippin if u think I went in on her because I didn’t…at all.”

Meanwhile, the fan still got lots of support, even from rapper Kash Doll, as others blasted Chilli.
