Kelly Clarkson’s New Talk Show Lands Highest Marks For Daytime Debut In 7 Years, Tamron Hall’s Show Also Solid In Debut
The numbers are in and Kelly Clarkson appears to be doing fairly well in the TV space.
This week, the 37-year-old singer’s The Kelly Clarkson premiered and according to reports, the show earned a respectable 1.9 household rating across primary runs in the metered markets.
Reportedly, her talk show is the highest daytime debut in the past seven years. Clarkson made a strong showing in her key demographic (Women 25 to 54), earning an average of a 0.8 rating, making it the best daytime debut in the past five years.
Tamron Hall’s talk show also debuted this week.
The former Today co-host earned a 1.4 household rating for her syndicated show’s debut, a higher debut than any other talk show other than Clarkson’s in the last five years.
