Beyonce’s “Homecoming” Loses Emmy Award To “Carpool Karaoke”, Beyhive Explodes + Singer’s Publicist Gives Middle Finger

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year and a half, everyone knows Beyonce‘s historic Coachella performance – aptly nicknamed, Beychella – is still one of the most talked about performances on social media. This explains why Twitter was in an uproar this weekend! Queen Bey’s Netflix special, “Homecoming,” was nominated for six Creative Emmy Awards – and left empty-handed.

The Beyhive believes that the documentary – showcasing the making of the intensely Black, HBCU-themed salute to Beyonce’s 20-years-long career – was robbed. And much like her devastating Album of the Year loss to Adele in 2016, “Homecoming” lost to “Carpool Karaoke’s” Paul McCartney special. One of the Emmy’s lost to the show was, shockingly, Best Technical Direction. “Carpool Karaoke” is shot from a car windshield. Is there a British conspiracy against Beyonce?

The Parkwood Entertainment crew, including Beyonce’s manager Steve Pamon and longtime publicist Yvette Noel-Schure, gave a fitting subliminal response to this year’s Emmy committee.
