Lil Nas X Alludes To Being In Relationship [VIDEO]
Lil Nas X (real name Montero Hill), 20, continues to open up about his music career, his sexuality and his current relationship status. As he took his music career to the next level with “Old Town Road,” which broke the record for consecutive weeks at No. 1 for 19 weeks, he tells Ellen why he decided to tweet his sexual preference on World Pride Day. He says,
“Just knowing it was something that I should have [already] done. But I was [previously] in a position where I had to worry about family and friends and how they would react. But in the past year, I’m on a new level, so it doesn’t really matter, I guess.”
He adds how he wanted to set an example for the younger generation,
“And, also just how it would be good for the youngins listening to me right now, who are going to have to go through stuff like this in the future, to know that it’s all right.”
The rapper finally revealed his relationship status since coming out as gay in June. He tells Ellen,
“Somewhat!”
Check out his interview below:
As previously reported, Nas X may have broken records throughout the year with his hit smash, but nothing compares his excitement after meeting the media mogul, Oprah Winfrey over the weekend during his guest appearance on Ellen. He writes,
“I met Oprah you guys.”

In another post Nas X writes,
“Oprah pinched my cheeks u guys.”
