Evelyn Lozada On Identifying As An Afro-Latina, Having Sex With a 23-Year-Old & Feeling Like She Hasn’t Met Her Soulmate

Evelyn Lozada is a reality TV veteran. The spicy New York native has been shaking things up on “Basketball Wives” for nearly a decade, but there are things about her we don’t know. In a recent interview with  “Just the Sip,” she spills the tea on her ethnic identity, her sex life, and how her rough NYC upbringing resulted in her getting robbed as a child.

Evelyn took a DNA test, and it turns out she’s 100% – Afro-Latina! She explains:

“I consider myself an Afro-Latina…I have back-tracked my roots, so I know where I come from. So, you know, I have a little bit of everything. It’s funny ’cause on this season, somebody was like, ‘B*tch, you think you Black.’ And I’ve never had anybody tell me that. And I was so offended, ’cause I didn’t know what that meant. I’m like, ‘I think I’m Black?’ You know, I grew up in New York! I know where I come from! I’ve done DNA tests just to know, but I wanna be able to tap into that more. I’m proud to be Puerto Rican, and from New York, and Afro-Latina, and all that good stuff.”

While discussing sex, the 43-year-old says it’s not the size of the boat, but the motion of the ocean that matters to her.

“It don’t need to be, like, super big- like King Kong d*ck or nothin’ like that. I wanna walk, and I feel like if you know how to work it. And, you know, my c**chie’s tight…I take care of my girl. My girl’s well taken care of.”

Evelyn Lozada revealed that after splitting with ex-fiance, Carl Crawford, she didn’t have sex for over a year.

“It’s not that consistent, but I’ve seen it…it’s not as consistent as I would want it to be, but that’s okay, too. You know, after I broke up with Carl – Shaunie [O’Neal] cracks up – she’s like, ‘It’s been a year- year and a half, and you still haven’t had sex?’ I’m like, ‘No!’ I could have, but going through that transition – like, my life had just stopped. So for me to process that, I was, like, not interested in the d*ck at all. I am now, though!”

She says she doesn’t mind being a cougar every now and then!

“How young for a smash? 23. I would, I’m sorry! I have! And this was after my dry spell from a year and a half from Carl! He’s still calling!”

Despite married once, and engaged three times – Evelyn feels she hasn’t met the one yet.

“I don’t feel like there’s one that got away. I feel like I haven’t met my soulmate.”

While walking to high school in the Bronx, she was robbed at gunpoint – which is where she learned to fiercely defend herself against the ladies of “Basketball Wives.”

“I had so much drama! I had a lot of drama in school! So I had to defend myself. I had to survive! I remember getting robbed a few times going to school. If I didn’t have money for the bus, I’d have to kind of walk really far to get to the train. And, you know, get robbed a couple times, ’cause I had those doorknockers on. They took my earrings, they had me at gunpoint, and everything, honey.”
