Kanye’s New Album Features A Song About Chick-Fil-A, Called “Closed On Sunday”
Controversial rapper Kanye West has reportedly found a creative way to salute his Lord and savior. His upcoming album, “Jesus is King,” will feature all Christian-themed songs – perfectly accompanying his widely popular “Sunday Service” concerts.
According to reports, a new Kanye song has been played at his “Jesus is King” listening parties, heavily influenced by fast food restaurant, Chick-Fil-A. For religious purposes, the chicken chain is closed every Sunday – spawning the Kanye West song, “Closed on Sunday.” The lyrics reportedly rap as followed:
“Closed on Sunday, you my Chick-fil-A / Hold the selfies, put the ‘Gram away / Follow Jesus, listen and obey…”
In the book “”Eat Mor Chikin: Inspire More People,” Chick-Fil-A’s founder, Truett Cathy, wrote this about their Christian hours of operation:
“Closing our business on Sunday, the Lord’s Day, is our way of honoring God and showing our loyalty to Him.”
Kanye West’s delayed album roll-out will also inclued a nationwide showing of a “Jesus is King” documentary in IMAX theaters.
Chick-Fil-A has not yet commented on Kanye West’s new song.
