Damon Wayans To Star & Produce New Sitcom ‘Let’s Stay Together’ + Returning To Stand-Up
Damon Wayans has landed another TV show. According to reports, the 59-year-old comedian and actor has landed a new ABC comedy. The project multi-camera project is called Let’s Stay Together (working title), which will reportedly star Wayans as a single father who finds out it’s hard to get rid of millennial kids, and their kids. The storyline is said to imitate his own personal family life.
Wayans is reportedly reteaming with My Wife and Kids co-creator Don Reo on the comedy which is in development and will be produced by ABC Studios.
The pair are writing and executive producing.
Earlier this year, Wayans made headlines after quitting Fox’s Lethal Weapon, after three seasons.
Wayans is also planning to return to the stand-up comedy stage this fall.
