‘Jersey Shore’ Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Arrested After Allegedly Punching Girlfriend Jen Harley & Chasing Her With A Knife

The explosive relationship between Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley allegedly turned physical, leading to Ortiz-Magro getting arrested.

Ortiz-Magro is accused of not only hitting Harley but going after her with a knife. He allegedly got so out of control that cops had to tase him, according to reports Friday (Oct. 4).

The incident reportedly stemmed from a screaming match the two had while at an Airbnb in L.A. around 2:30 a.m. Ortiz-Magro allegedly lost his cool and slapped and punched Harley.  She then reportedly ran out of the house, yelling for help. He then allegedly chased her while holding a knife and their 18-month-old daughter Ariana.

He reportedly let go of the knife and locked him and the child in the house where the dispute began. Police arrived but he allegedly failed to comply with their orders to come out. Reports said police were forced to kick down the door to help the baby get out. Ortiz-Magro was taken to a hospital but was later arrested and booked for kidnapping. Harley claimed that he was unhinged because he had been doing cocaine.

The child didn’t suffer any injuries but Harley did have marks on her face.

A reporter for FOX in L.A. tweeted a snapshot of Ortiz-Magro handcuffed to a stretcher.

The reporter wrote,

“Woman reported being assaulted + that Ortiz had her baby inside home. Police say he wouldn’t come out so they broke down door to rescue baby.”

Interestingly enough, just hours before the two were spotted holding hands in Beverly Hills, stating that they decided to work on their relationship, despite their friends and family telling them their romance is unhealthy.

This isn’t the first time they’ve been allegedly involved in a domestic dispute this year.

Ortiz-Magro claimed that Harley threw an ashtray at his head earlier this year, busting his lip and nose. Harley also alleged that he destroyed her television, picture frames and vases. Ortiz-Magro filed a battery report before Harley was arrested in May. She was cleared of the domestic battery charges in July.
