EXCLUSIVE: Waka Flocka – Rapper Dismissed From $700,000 Lawsuit
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Waka Flocka Flame (real name Juaquin James Malphurs) has been dismissed from a lawsuit involving hundreds of thousands of dollars. The suit, which was dismissed earlier this month by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Erik Dunaway, was seeking $700,000.00 damages.
theJasmineBRAND broke the story in 2018, that a man named Anthony Price invested over $150,000 in a company owned and controlled by Waka Flocka’s mother, Deb Antney. When the company dissolved, Anthony Price alleged that Antney and Waka Flocka owed him $700,000 for the money he invested and lost profits.
After a year of litigation, attorneys from The Graham Law Firm were able to demonstrate to the court that there was not enough evidence to allow the case against Waka Flocka to continue. According to Attorney Charles Graham, he and Attorney Brian Watkins are relieved that Judge Dunaway rendered a swift and fair ruling in the case. The case remains open against the remaining parties.
