Drake Reflects On His 33rd Birthday – I Am Covered In A Blanket of Love

Rapper Drake recently celebrated his 33rd birthday in style with a star-studded guest list on Thursday night (10/24/19), at Goya Studios in Los Angeles. The theme was an Italian mob party, and his entire OVO crew along with big names like Trey Songz, French Montana, Chris Brown, and even Adele were in attendance. The following day, Drake took to Instagram reflecting with a heartfelt message on how special his friends, family, and his fans made his day. He writes

“I’ve spent many nights over the last 4 or 5 years feeling like people did not like me or resented me for things beyond my control. I would sometimes settle into this mindset for months at a time. Today I woke up and looked at my phone and realized how much positive energy and how many unbreakable bonds I have in my life from incredible people.”

He continues,

“All the messages and posts just reminded me that I am covered in a blanket of love and support and I should never second guess that. Thank you for a truly uplifting day. Love you all forever.”

At his extravaganza, Champagne Papi dressed for the occasion in a pinstripe suit over a T-shirt with a diamond chain to match. The birthday boy shares a series of photos from his celebration including his guests and mother, Sandi Graham.

As previously reported, Drake may have a new special someone in his life. Allegedly, the birthday boy’s guest of honor seemed to be reality star/beauty mogul Kylie Jenner. An attendee claims that the pair seemed to be flirting throughout the duration of the party. The source says,

“[Kylie Jenner] was never too far away [from Drake]. She spent the most time near Drake and his friends. Kylie was rapping to songs and dancing with her friends while she was next to Drake, but they weren’t dancing together, they seemed to have a connection though…she was drinking Mod Sélection Champagne and really seemed to be living her single best life.”

This wasn’t the only witness to Drake and Kylie in action. Another source added:

“[They] spent a lot of time talking to each other. They seemed to be enjoying each other’s company. They were joking around and Kylie was laughing. She seemed to be really happy and in a great mood and her and Drake seemed very comfortable with each other. There seemed to be an attraction there.”

Drake and Kylie would certainly make for a controversial couple considering Drake’s connections to her family.
