Update: Dave East Reacts To Criminal Case Being Dismissed In ThreeSome Altercation “I Told Y’all I Was Innocent”

Update #2. Oct, 28th. The criminal case that Dave East faced over this incident has been officially dismissed. Dave East suffered a concussion during the altercation, and as a result, the criminal case against the rapper was dropped. His attorney explains that injury shows that the rapper did not instigate the incident, and

“he attempted to responsibly quell the situation.”

Update #1 – Dave East’s attorney, Stacey Richman, has released the following statement:

“The woman threw a soap dispenser and bottles of champagne at Dave. One of the bottles shattered on the wall, sending glass flying and cutting Dave.  Another bottle hit Dave with force in the head. The woman sought to continue her assault. Dave did not respond with violence. Instead Dave was concerned for everyone’s safety. Dave justifiably took the woman by the arm and put her out of the room. Dave did not assault anyone. He was ordered by his doctor to get CAT scan after the incident. We are waiting on the results. It was later learned that the woman had secreted Dave’s phones in her handbag.” – Stacey Richman, Dave’s attorney

Dave East is accused of getting a little too physical with a woman.

According to reports, he was cited with misdemeanor battery amid a woman’s claims that he punched her in Las Vegas earlier this month.

It started when Dave invited two mystery women to his Delano hotel room after an appearance at Drai’s Nightclub Saturday (Sept. 14). According to the rapper, one of the women was mad he didn’t give her as much attention as the other. He told police that she went off, throwing champagne bottles at him. Two of those bottles allegedly hit him and cut his arm and leg. Police reportedly saw the injuries.

But the woman said she and Dave got into a screaming match and he threw at least five punches. She added that she got hit on the arm. She said she went to the bathroom to call police, but she didn’t say anything about the bottles she allegedly threw.

A third woman and one of Dave’s friends also shared their account after they came to the room shortly after Dave and the alleged victim started arguing. That woman said Dave was indeed in the wrong. But his friend insisted that he only saw the woman in question throwing bottles at the rapper.

Both Dave and the woman weren’t arrested. But they were both cited for misdemeanor battery.

Dave’s attorney, Stacey Richman, also stepped in and said the woman tossed a soap dispenser at him. She added that Dave never got violent with her but wanted to make sure that everyone stayed safe. As for her alleged injuries on her arm, she said Dave did grab the woman by the arm to get her out of the room.

They also went to two different hospitals to get treated for their injuries. Dave received a CAT scan; those results are still pending.
