Rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs officially turned the big 5-0 on Monday (Nov. 4th) and in celebration of his half-century birthday, the man, the myth and the legend himself shared a look back at his prolific career. Diddy shared a “halftime” B-day video sending a message that his first 50 years on earth was just the beginning,
“The first 50 years had peaks and valleys but we made to halftime. We’re just getting warmed up.”

The decorated music mogul recently spoke about his career from music intern to multi-million dollar CEO:
“[Back then] there was no one in the front rows. We weren’t invited to anything, and if you were black and you were hip-hop, it was dangerous. I think going out there as a statesman and letting them know, “We cool, we’re artists too.” We’re the same thing [as] jazz artists or rock ’n’ roll artists, or punk artists. We’re just a different type of artist, and I was able to see that and feel that energy”
