Eminem Celebrates 20th Anniversary of ‘The Slim Shady LP’ With Merch
Eminem is set to release a “SSLP20” merch capsule to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his The Slim Shady LP. the Detroit rapper took to Instagram on Thursday (November 14), sharing video clip that includes Lego versions of Eminem and longtime business partner Paul Rosenberg. He writes,
“There’s only so much I can explain. ”Still Don’t Give A F*ck SSLP20 Drop 2 Coming 11/19 . Paul not included.“
In the video, Eminem plays “Guilty Conscience” in the background, while Paul Rosenberg calls up Slim Shady. After, Rosenberg announced his disappointment in the lyrics, in typical Eminem fashion, he looses his cool and grabs a weapon.
On the website, a limited quantity will be available beginning on November 19.

Also, a description of the first product of the anniversary capsule appeared:
“This product features originally unused and unreleased film strips from Danny Hastings’ original shoot for The Slim Shady LP album cover. The film strip photos were printed on HDR dye-sublimated metal and are encased in a clear, acrylic box. Only 99 units are for sale, each one with a Certificate Of Authenticity autographed by Eminem encased in the shadowbox”.

Eminem’s second studio album, The Slim Shady LP was released in 1999. The album produced singles such as “My Name Is,” “Just Don’t Give A Fuck” and “Guilty Conscience” featuring Dr. Dre.
