Tory Lanez Doesn’t Want Women Asking Him To Buy Gifts: If You Can’t Buy It Yourself, You’re NOT In My Tax Bracket! [VIDEO]
Men are from Mars, women are from Nieman’s according to rapper/singer Tory Lanez. It seems that the man behind the “Chixtape 5” buzz feels that in relationships, men and women should be equally yoked. In an appearance on Joe Budden‘s “Pull Up” show, he says that women should only ask men for things they can afford to buy themselves – or else, the relationship will be an epic fail. Tory Lanez emphatically explains:
“When it comes to women, it’s like- I have this line with women. When they’re like, ‘Yo, can you buy me this?’ Shorty, I thought you was up! You can’t buy yourself that? If you can’t buy yourself that, you can’t f*ck with a n*gga in my tax bracket. Period. If you can’t buy yourself a Gucci bag, you can’t f*ck with a n*gga in my tax bracket- if that’s what we’re talkin’ about.”
He continued:
“But that’s the thing- I’m a down-to-earth n*gga. If you come on some, ‘I don’t give a f*ck about a Gucci bag! I’m not gon’ ask you for that!’- I’m not gon’ try you like that. But if you have the nerve to try me like I’m a trick, and say, ‘Yo, gimme this bag,’ I’mma ask you, ‘Shorty, do you not have enough money to buy yourself that bag?’ And if you don’t, don’t f*ck with me. I’m just sayin’!”
Meanwhile, Joe Budden insists that he has no comment.

On the opposite side of Tory Lanez’s coin conversation, on the reunion special of season six of “Love and Hip-Hop: New York,” rappers Cardi B and Remy Ma scolded Peter Gunz, preaching that if he’s at liberty to ask women for a sexual experience, he should be care enough to provide for them:
“Remy Ma: What she’s sayin’ is, ‘If I f*ck with a n*gga, and you wanna lay down with me – you don’t want me to have somewhere to wash my a**? You don’t want me to have somewhere to lay down?’ But it’s okay for the first date for you to ask a chick for some a**, though, right?
Cardi B: A lot of these men gon’ tell you, like, ‘Listen. I got a wife, but I wanna have a good time. Oh! And I got bills, and I want them to be paid!…You got a lot of love from me. You got everything you want from me, so it’s like, ‘Why can’t I get somethin’ back? Look what you gave Amina [Buddafly] and Tara [Wallace]. Babies and that’s it! Are you paying both of they rent? You know you not paying they rent!”
