Rapper PartyNextDoor has returned with a new collaboration with OVO King, Drake, entitled “Loyal.” The very low-profile rapper’s latest release this week will be his first single as lead artist since 2017. Since 2017, PND has worked with some of the top artists in addition to his own material. He penned “Work” for Rihanna and DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts.”

The Canadian artist has apparently been working on the project since 2017, shortly after he released his Colours 2 and Seven Days EPs. Back in 2017, just over two year ago on this exact date of his newly release singles, PND wrote,
“I’m taking my time with this album. It’s straight party & unapologetic.”

Back in August, Drake first revealed PND will be bringing the heat this year during his headlining set in Toronto for OVO Fest. Drake says in the video,
“PARTYNEXTDOOR, new PND on the way.”

In an interview from 2015, PND touched on how he went from being computer illiterate, to one of the top producers in the industry.
“I was one of those guys on Myspace who had one of those fake hit counters. They just didn’t see it. So I was like, ‘Okay, cool, Imma learn how to produce my own beats,’ and I stuck to it. Now, it’s hard to even take a beat from anyone else.”

PND also dropped a second single called, “The News.”
