Kanye West Teases “Closed On Sunday” Music Video Release
Rapper Kanye West is continuing his quest for the kingdom on Thanksgiving. The evangelical rapper has taken the Christian community by storm this year, adopting hip-hop and R&B melodies for gospel remixes in his “Sunday Service” concerts. He’s held the services at arenas, HBCU homecomings, and even in a prison’s ministry.

Kanye West even dropped an inspirational album and film, both titled “Jesus Is King.” The album’s first single is titled, “Follow God.” The song’s music video features a cameo from the rapper’s father.
To fans’ surprise, he recently teased the album’s next single – “Closed On Sunday,” which compares his salvation to fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A. Some of the lyrics include:
“Closed on Sunday, you my Chick-fil-A / Hold the selfies, put the?’Gram?away / Get your family, ?y’all hold hands and pray… Closed on Sunday, you my Chick-fil-A / You’re my number one, with the lemonade / Raise our sons, train them in the faith…Follow Jesus, listen and obey / No more livin’ for the culture, we nobody’s slave”
He tweeted this message about his next music video:
“Closed on Sunday World premiere 11 28 19”
