Lil’ Wayne Announces His Own Brand of Weed Called GKUA Ultra Premium

Multiplatinum-selling rapper, Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter Jr.), 37, has taken the iconic Nate Dogg bar (Smoke Weed Everyday) and roll it to the bank. On Monday (Dec. 2nd) Wayne took to his Instagram to reveal that he has now launched his own brand of cannabis called GKUA Ultra Premium. Wayne has entered into an elite group of notable celebs who have entered the cannabis world including Snoop Dogg, Whoop Goldberg, Jay-z, and Wiz Khalifa. In Wayne’s announcement, he shared a photo smoking a pre-rolled joint full of his new marijuana brand writing,

“IT’S THAT GKUA Ultra Premium.”

The rapper adds the hashtag,

“#MyWeed”

On the official website, the brand says it’s all about inspiring the true self and opening the mind to become free and creative,

“GKUA is about being real, being appreciative, and inspiring artists and dreamers.”

GKUA President and co-founder, Beau Golob releases a statement on their collaboration with Wayne saying,

In addition, the brand promises that Wayne’s new strain of marijuana will give you the “best high of your life.” Also, Wayne’s GKUA brand CBD/THC vape cartridge are made “from the finest cannabis” has Tunechi’s seal of approval.

As part of the brand’s launch, it will give customers free tickets to a VIP party in 2020 featuring Lil Wayne and friends. GKUA Ultra Premium is set to launch in Los Angeles, California marijuana dispensaries in 2020.
