Justin Bieber Apologizes For Past Racist Comments: “When I Was Young I Didn’t Know The Power Of My Words”
We are, undoubtedly, in sensitive times right now where your past statements can come back to haunt you. Singer Justin Bieber is aware of that, and is looking to clean up a few insensitive comments he made as a teenager. Justin took to Instagram with this bold post:
“STAND AGAINST RACISM”
He says he didn’t realize the power of his voice when he was younger. Justin Bieber’s caption read:
“@justinbieber When I was young I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words. Racism Is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!”

Perhaps Justin is alluding to a video that went viral in 2014. In the footage, Justin is shown in 2011, using the n-word in a joking manner. The joke can be heard saying:
“Why are black people afraid of chain saws? Run n–ger, n–ger, n–ger, n–ger, n–ger!”
He later issued an apology, with singer/mentor Usher vouching for him – calling the video a “mistake.”
Are Justin Bieber’s 2011 comments forgiven? Let us know in the comments.
