EXCLUSIVE: “The Real” To Announce Amanda Seales As Permanent 5th Co-Host In 2020!
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, The Real is officially expanding. Sources tell us that the syndicated talk show is bringing on a permanent fifth co-host. Sources tell us that actress and comedian Amanda Seales will allegedly be added permanently.
“She guest co-hosted on the show for awhile and they loved her, she really connected with the audience!”
The series began in 2013 with co-hosts Tamar Braxton, Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
Tamar Braxton’s contract was not renewed after season two. Since her departure, the 5th co-host position had remained vacant, while the show had temporary guest co-hosts.
We’re told that ratings for the series has continued to increase and Amanda Seales will further diversify the points of view and conversations that the show is known for.

The Real premiered for full syndication in 2014. In 2018, Fox Television Stations picked up two more seasons of the series, effectively allowing Warner Bros. Television Distribution to continue to produce it into the 2019–20 television season. Last month, Fox Television Stations renewed the series for the seventh and eighth
seasons with Warner Bros. Television Distribution producing the show into the 2021-22 television season.
Amanda Seales’ most recent TV credits include HBO’s Insecure, where she plays the role of Tiffany DuBois. Also in 2016, Seales began hosting her own show on truTV called Greatest Ever. She is a co-host on Bring the Funny alongside judges Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen, and Jeff Foxworthy.
