Kevin Hart’s Argument/Physical Altercation With Trainer Receives Mixed Reactions

Kevin Hart’s Netflix documentary Kevin Hart: Don’t F*** This Up showed a side of the comedian fans haven’t seen before. And he’s getting mixed reactions from it.

In part three of the six-part docu-series, Kevin Hart gets into a heated disagreement with his trainer Ron “Boss” Everline.

The Jumanji actor asked Boss,

“Do you think you’re rich?”

Boss responded,

“Shut up, I’m not rich.”

Hart then asked,

“[Do you] think you’re wealthy? Everything stops today, you can live forever?”

Boss said,

“N—a I work every day…”

Hart then repeated his question.

“I said if everything stops… If everything stops today… F— me, f— everything else…”

Boss told him,

“I’m good… I’ve had money before you and gonna have money after you.”

Hart was clearly not satisfied and asked,

“If everything stops today, could you survive?”

Boss said,

“Yes.”

Hart yelled,

“You’re a liar!”

Hart then continued asking Boss if he had a home, while Boss tried to explain that he makes more than enough money as a fitness trainer.

Boss said,

“The fact that you’re trying to tell me that I can’t survive makes you look dumb as f—… I’ve been making money way before this.”

But Hart refused to stop asking Boss if he had a home.

Boss reached his breaking point and knocked down the camera that was taping their interaction.

The two then have an altercation that is partially seen on the screen.

Hart then said in a confessional interview,

“I f–ed up.”

He opened up about the incident in part four and said,

“Having a moment of self-evaluation, I realize a chink in the armor. I’m a firm believer in practice what you preach, and I’m always preaching to Boss about what we are, what we can be, what we have, why we need to be smart and always looking at the bigger picture.”

He added,

“I acted as an ignorant a– who was willing to jeopardize everything he worked for because you got drunk, because you had an argument, because it was testosterone in the air. If that situation between he and I had escalated more, when we got off that plane, me and Boss would’ve been arrested. Luckily, nobody was arrested. You know, the cops just wanted to make sure everybody was okay.”

He appeared to have a moment of reflection and said,

“But these are the moments when you realize that you’re nowhere near where you need to be. So that road to becoming the billionaire or the mogul, it’s a long road man. It’s a long road. It’s a long f—ing road. And you can think you got it all together, and like that, something stupid can happen that can take it all away.”

While he seemed to see the error in his ways, fans headed to Twitter to share their thoughts on the ordeal.

Also in the documentary, Hart’s wife, Eniko Hart, opened up their cheating scandal.

She said,

“How I found out was a DM.I don’t know who it was, sent me an edited video of Kevin and another woman. I was pregnant at the time. I was about 7-8 months pregnant, I was having breakfast, I opened my phone and immediately I just lost it. I called him crying, I’m like pissed. Right then and there I kept saying, ‘How the f–k did you let that happen?’”

“You publicly humiliated me. Your whole, everything’s on Instagram, everything’s on social media. It was an ongoing fight all the time. Every single day. I kept questioning him, like, ‘If this is what you’re gonna do, I don’t want to be a part of that.’”

She continued,

“I kept worrying about the baby, I have to maintain a level head, I think that’s the only thing that really got me through. I wasn’t ready at the time to just give up on my family. I wanted Kenzo to be able to know his dad and grow up, so it was a lot. It was a lot for me, but we’ve been through it, we’ve gone through it, we passed it and he’s a better man now because of it.”

“I’m happy that it kind of happened. I get sensitive every time I talk about it. Sorry.”

“Three strikes, you’re out. As long as he behaves, we’re good.”

Fans had plenty to say about that as well.
