Kobe Bryant Tribute: LeBron James Gives Emotional Speech + Usher, Wiz Khalifa & Boyz II Men Perform [VIDEO]
Last night (January 31st), the Los Angeles Lakers gave a memorable tribute to Kobe Bryant, who was killed in a helicopter accident on January 26th, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gigi Bryant. 8 other people were also tragically killed including the helicopter’s pilot, Ara Zobayan; Gianna’s Mamba Academy teammates Alyssa Altobelli and Payton Chester; their parents, John and Keri Altobelli, and Sarah Chester; and assistant coach Christina Mauser.

The cause of the crash is still unknown as the helicopter was not equipped with a black box. The Federal Aviation Administration, National Transportation Safety Board, and the FBI have launched investigations into the crash.
The tribute took place before their game against the Trail Blazers.

Ultimately, the Trail Blazers won, beating the Lakers 127-119. The Blazers star Damian Lillard made history, as the first player in NBA history to record 35+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists and 5+ threes in five straight games.
