While Gayle King offered up an explanation for her controversial sit-down with Lisa Leslie, some celebrities still aren’t here for it.

Thursday (Feb. 5), Gayle King responded to the backlash she received over asking Lisa Leslie about late NBA star Kobe Bryant’s legacy, and whether the 2003 sexual assault allegations against him would tarnish it.

The question came less than two weeks after Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna Bryant, 13, and seven others died in a tragic helicopter crash.

Despite her recap, many celebrities were still livid. LeBron James tweeted hours after Gayle King’s video:

“Protect @LisaLeslieat all cost! You’re a real Superhero!! Sorry you had to through that s*%#!!! We are our own worse enemies! #Mamba4Life“
