Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Doesn’t Want Prince Harry & Meghan Markle To Use ‘Sussex Royal’ Branding Amid Their Exit
Queen Elizabeth has allegedly taken issue with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, profiting from the Sussex Royal brand.
According to The Daily Mail, her royal highness wants the couple to stop using their Sussex Royal references considering they resigned from senior royal leadership earlier this year. In their shocking statement, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry said they wanted to be more financially independent.

Because of their move, the queen reportedly doesn’t want them to keep the word “royal” in their “branding.”
Her alleged decision comes after the two already paid for a Sussex Royal website, which was released last month, and globally trademarked the name for clothes, stationery, books and more.

The @sussexroyal Instagram page already has more than 11 million followers.

They also established a new charity called Sussex Royal, The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But now, based on the new reports they’ll have to “rebrand” everything.

The ordeal has been described as a “complex” situation, and the “fine detail” is being solidified.
Shortly after their announcement, Queen Elizabeth released a statement that she and the royal family supported their decision.
“Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.”
“Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”
