Kenya Moore’s Estranged Husband Marc Daly’s Restaurant Reacts To Reports That Mice & Live Roaches Were Found By Health Department

Marc Daly’s Soco restaurant appears to be responding to negative reports. On Friday (March 6th), a post from the restaurant’s account shared a photo of their official sanitary inspection grade. the caption reads:

“For the haters spreading false news PSA we have maintained our A for many years our staff is amazing Soco standards have always been upheld please stop spreading fake rumors about a successful black owned business!!!”

As previously reported, Kenya Moore’s husband’s restaurant was cited for 28 violations, the most SoCo has ever received, according to Bossip. On Feb. 13th, the New York City Health Department revealed that due to SoCo not being adequately vermin-proof, evidence of mice was found in the kitchen. By definition, vermin are:

“Wild animals that are believed to be harmful to crops, farm animals, or game, or that carry disease…such as flies, mice, rats, cockroaches, or bedbugs.”

These were the other findings through the inspection:

“- Food wasn’t properly protected from sources of contamination during storage, prep, transportation, display or service.
– Cold food items weren’t being refrigerated at appropriate temperatures.
– Live roaches were present in both the kitchen and/or dining area.
– There was evidence of mice in the kitchen and/or dining area.
– The restaurant isn’t vermin proof and has conditions that are conducive to attracting vermin and allowing them to exist.”
