Andrew Gillum – Man Involved In Alleged Crystal Meth Incident With Politican Is A Male Escort
We haven’t heard the last of Andrew Gillum’s alleged involvement in a shaky situation.
It was previously reported that the former mayor of Tallahassee was in a Miami hotel room when a man, Travis Dyson, appeared to overdose on crystal meth. Andrew Gillum released a statement and said,
“I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends. While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines. I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement.
“I’m thankful to the incredible Miami Beach EMS team for their efforts. I will spend the next few weeks with my family and appreciate privacy during this time.”
But now, Travis Dyson is in stable condition and more is coming out about him. According to Heavy, he works as a male escort and is in school to be a nurse practitioner.
He told the Miami New Times,
“I personally was not celebrating a wedding. I don’t know if [Gillum] was in town for a wedding. He did not mention that.”
The Miami New Times reported that Travis Dyson, who said he met Andrew Gillum last year, got quiet on the phone and didn’t answer anymore calls after the brief conversation.
At the same time, Andrew Gillum and his wife R. Jai Gillum celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last May. They also have three children together.
