Tyler Perry Shares ‘Ashy’ Selfie After Constantly Washing Hands Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
Director Tyler Perry took to his Instagram on Wednesday (March 17) and showed off his “ashy” hand amid the ongoing COVID-19 (a.k.a. coronavirus) pandemic.
In his photo, the filmmaker shares his commitment to stay healthy by washing his hands. He held up his left hand that appeared to have some type of body paint that resembles dry skin. Tyler Perry urged people to continue washing their hands in the wake of COVID-19.

The filmmaker’s $16 million Atlanta Tyler Perry Studio has been reportedly shut down, stopping all production on his original programming for films and TV shows for networks including the Oprah Winfrey Network, Nickelodeon and BET, according to reports.

Tyler Perry reportedly planned to shoot two TV series over the next couple of weeks but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the director pressed pause on his Atlanta production. Georgia has nearly 200 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases. That number is reportedly expected to rise.
Thankfully, Perry will pay the freelancers who were assigned to work on those series, according to reports. The media mogul took to Instagram on Monday (March 16th), to share how he’s remaining positive amid the turmoil.
