DJ Jazzy Jeff Says “I’m Good, Thank God” After Recovering From Pneumonia In Both Lungs, While Losing Sense Of Smell & Taste
Update #2: (March 31st): DJ Jazzy Jeff has provided an update on his health. He writes:
I’m Good! Thank God!!! I posted yesterday to bring awareness to how serious this…Pls look out for each other.
Original Story: DJ Jazzy Jeff(real name Jeffrey Allen Townes) is recovering after battling a serious illness. The 55-year-old DJ shared on social media that he had pneumonia in both of his lungs and is now recovering. He also said that he lost sense of smell and taste, one of the signs of coronavirus. He also thanked his wife and warned people to stay home.
While he didn’t specify whether or not he had coronavirus, his symptoms seem to be similar to those who have the virus.
DJ Jazzy Jeff is an record producer, DJ, actor and comedian who is best known for his friendship and collaboration with Will Smith as DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince.
