Jay-Z’s Charity Teams Up w/ Rihanna’s Foundation For $2 Million COVID-19 Donation For Public Schools & Immigration Org
Jay-Z is now on the growing list of celebrities who are putting his billions toward to the coronavirus cause. As the virus reportedly spreads to unthinkable numbers, Jay-Z’s organization, the Shawn Carter Foundation, has donated with Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation for a $2 million gift.
The money will go toward: the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles, The Fund for Public Schools, The American Civil Liberties Union, and the New York Immigration Coalition.

The organization tweeted Tuesday (March 31),
“Thank you. @S_C_’s @shawncartersffor joining us to give a combined $2 million to @MayorsFundLA@TheFundforPS@ACLU @thenyicfor COVID-19 response supporting undocumented workers, children of frontline healthworkers & first responders, & incarcerated, elderly & homeless people.”
Jay-Z’s foundation also spread the news on Twitter.

Rihanna’s foundation previously announced a $5 million donation.

Rihanna has also donated for protective equipment.
