‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Erica Dixon Lets 15-Year-Old Emani Date + Emani Gives Relationship Advice: If He Does Something Wrong, Block Him!

Can you believe Erica Dixon and Lil Scrappy’s daughter Emani is 15?

She’s been on the small screen since her parents helped roll out VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” back in 2012.

Now, she’s grown into a teenager right in front of us, and is starting to date!

Emani joined Erica Dixon on her YouTube channel recently, and the mother/daughter duo opened up about Emani’s personal life.

Erica Dixon said,

“She’s 15, I told her she can start talking to boys. She has friends, but I mean like, um, I don’t know if I wanna call it dating.”

Emani was all for calling it dating before Erica gave in and added some ground rules.

“Well, I guess. I’m okay, as long as I talk to parents, well the other parent, and they go to the movies or something or skating, we’re all on the same page.”

They both agreed that this would all happen after social distancing is over the coronavirus pandemic has lifted. She then told Emani,

“I’m quite sure you’re 15, you’re hormonal, you like boys. I know there’s a particular boy that you like… Were you scared to tell me you liked him?”

Emani said she wasn’t afraid because she and the mystery guy were just friends and she developed feelings for him. But she surprised Erica when she offered her own piece of dating advice.

“If you talk to a boy you really like, no matter how. much you like him, if he does something wrong the first time, always take the red flag and cut him off! Block him! Well, don’t block him on Instagram because you want him to see that you’re doing good. Block him on everything else.”

She confessed that she was going through something herself. Erica added,

“I’ve always told her that, when someone shows you who they are, believe their actions, not their words, cause a person can talk all day long…. I’m hands on all the time when it comes to her. I don’t do the whole, gotta be seen on social media, but she knows what time it is when it comes to me. Mama bear.”

She said Emani is also allowed to accept “friendly gifts.”
