Brandy’s Daughter Sy’rai Debuts New Aaliyah-Inspired Single ‘At Your Best’ [AUDIO]

Keeping it in the family, Sy’rai Smith, daughter of R&B singer Brandy Norwood as debuted the official audio to her latest single ‘At Your Best’, produced by Brandy’s nephew Aaron Smith.  ‘At Your Best’ is an upbeat sample of the dearly departed R&B singer Aaliyah single “At Your Best (You Are Love),” which was released in 1994.

Brandy, shows her support with an Instagram post featuring a snippet of Sy’rai Smith’s latest song. In the post, Brandy captioned:

While most may be surprised by Sy’rai’s vocals, this isn’t the first time the 17-year-old’s talent has been displayed for the world. Over the years, Sy’rai has proven the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as several videos have circulated the internet of the r&b singer’s daughter singing.

The young singer is truly as gifted as her mother is. Previously reported in an interview with People (2012), Brandy acknowledged Sy’rai desire to pursue a music career, but advised her to enjoy life as is, first.
