Eva Marcille: NeNe Leakes Is NOT Responsible For Getting Me On ‘RHOA’!

Eva Marcille might have been a friend of Nene Leakes’ when she first joined Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in season 10, but now she’s making it clear that Nene Leakes had nothing to do with her snagging her peach.

The former “America’s Next Top Model” queen instead credits executives of the long-running reality show for calling and asking her tojoin the cast.

In an appearance on Kandi Burruss’s weekly “Speak On It”, Eva Marcille said,

I WAS NOT HIRED NOR BROUGHT ON TO THIS SHOW BY LINNETHIA LEAKES. I was called by executives of Real Housewives of Atlanta years after being called by executives of housewives of a [different] franchise, so be very clear […] Ms.HBIC. 

Eva Marcille continued:

She was the I’m the one, everyone, I’m the one […] shut up. I can not wait for this reunion, I know that.

The 35-year-old TV personality star joined “RHOA” in its 10th season. She said back in 2017,

I’m so excited to join NeNe [Leakes] and the ladies for the 10th season of RHOA. Atlanta and America, get ready!

Interestingly enough, she was described as Nene’s friend in that season, before being promoted to a full-time cast member in season 11. Check out Eva’s introduction to RHOA, below.
