Salt-N-Pepa Rapper, Pepa Sues Uber After Her Driver Allegedly Caused Car Crash
Pepa of Grammy-Award winning duo Salt-N-Pepa is taking legal action after her Uber driver got into a car accident.
According to court documents, Pepa, whose real name is Sandra Denton, is suing Uber for a multi-car collision where she sustained neck and knee injuries in 2018. The crash took place on the Los Angeles 101 freeway, where the Uber driver was accused of ‘tailgating.’
Pepa is suing for damages and loss of wages. She claims the accident has a lasting impact on her ability to perform and travel without pain or sickness.
Pepa’s been involved in a couple of legal battles as of late. Last year, Salt-N-Pepa parted ways with longtime DJ Spinderella resulting in a messy legal drama where the DJ called out Salt-N-Pepa for owing her money.
