Chris Brown & Young Thug Release Duet Mixtape “Slime & B” [LISTEN]

Chris Brown and Young Thug have officially linked up for new joint project called, ‘Slime & B.’ The duo released their 13-track joint project on Tuesday (May 5th), in celebration of Brown’s 31st birthday. For their ‘Slim & B‘ project, Brown and Thug enlisted a handful of special guest appearances from Gunna, Too Short, E-40, and Future. 

Brown and Thug creatively share the spotlight for their mixtape cover both as half cartoon images that are seemingly being torn in half.

Brown and Thug previously paired up on songs such as Brown’s 2017 “High End” and the remix to his 2015 track “Wrist.” Their new joint project will be be their first in 2020. Brown’s previously release his 2019 “Indigo” album, which also featured Gunna on one track. For Thug, he is expected to release his second studio album “Punk” this year. In addition, Thug recently explained:

“It’s music that the world is going to embrace. [Punk] means brave, not self centered, conscious. Very, very neglected, very misunderstood. Very patient, very authentic.”

After its release, S’lime & B’ became a top trending topic on Twitter. Some noticed Brown and Thug’s chemistry throughout demo. To add, several fans compared the duo’s vibe together on their join release to the dominance of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade’s era in Miami.
