Young Thug Reveals He ‘Kinda Died’ From Liver And Kidney Failure [VIDEO]

Rapper Young Thug had a life-threatening health scare. He shared details of a near-death experience while performing on the Offset and Friends live stream, which raised money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Young Thug revealed that he previously suffered kidney and liver failure due to drug abuse. He was also hospitalized for over 17 days.

“So, I kinda just stayed in the bed and I was like, ‘Yo call the ambulance. I can’t move my body.’ Then later, when the ambulance came, I couldn’t get out of the bed. They had to get me out of the bed basically. I felt like my whole body was numb and I couldn’t move. I went to the hospital and I had found out that I had liver and kidney failure.”

Thugger continued,

“And I kinda had sorta passed away like I kinda died, I was in the hospital for like 17 days. I left the hospital, my mom didn’t trust it. So I left the hospital, went to another hospital, they was like, ‘Man, you got liver and kidney failure. You supposed to be dead. Basically, you’ve been dead.’ I’ve been killed before.”

Earlier this year, Young Thug shared photos of him after an undisclosed surgery that went well, but didn’t make it clear why he had an operation.

Meanwhile, he’s been staying busy. Chris Brown recently hinted on Instagram that he and Thugger could be dropping their mixtape, titled Slime & B, on May 5. “5th day of the 5th month @thuggerthugger1,” Breezy captioned the photo.

The idea of a joint project was first mentioned on April 6th when Breezy announced that he had a joint mixtape in the works for fans with Thugger.

May 5th is also Chris Brown’s 31st birthday, which would make this day extra special for the singer.  No official confirmation on the name of the mixtape or the release date, but Slime & B appears to be the working title for now.
