NeYo Alludes To Getting Back w/ Wife Crystal Smith After Divorce Drama

Singer/actor, NeYo, confirms that he is back at home with the ones he loves, including his mother, sister, four children, and of course, his wife Crystal Smith!

In February 2020, theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported that the famous couple split and that Crystal Smith was prepping for divorce, which NeYo confirmed. But in a conversation with radio host Kendra G., NeYo seemingly now confirms the reconciliation.

In the video, Kendra G. can be heard telling NeYo,

“I need for you to give the pinky ring back!”

She appeared to reference his now infamous post break-up song, “Pinky Ring”.

The lyrics in the song say,

“She gave back the wedding ring, I turned into a pinky ring.”

NeYo responds to Kendra G. stating,

“I’ll say this.  Uh, when you’re faced with a pandemic and you see people dying daily, bunches of people dying all the time, it really puts things into perspective for you.  Who’s there for you regardless of whatever.”

He goes on to say,

“When this thing went down and all of a sudden it was like ‘Aye, it ain’t safe to be outside’, I said to myself  ‘Okay, if I gotta be inside, I wanna be inside with people that I know love me beyond a shadow of a doubt, and that I love beyond a shadow of a doubt.”

NeYo continues,

“Regardless of what me and Crystal was going through at the time, never did I ever say that I didn’t love her. That never ever happened. I never had anything never to say. Even if you listen to the ‘Pinky Ring’ song, it ain’t a dis record I didn’t say anything foul about her through the whole song.”

Crystal Smith has yet to respond about the reconciliation with her husband but she did post a photo on her Instagram of herself where NeYo’s arm appears to be around her shoulder.  The alleged man’s arm is rocking the two rings that NeYo has been seen wearing (see comparison below).
