Twitter users also claim that this is not the first time that Doja Cat (real name Amalaratna Dlamini) has gotten into some trouble for some insensitive comments.
Twitter users found an alleged unreleased song of Doja’s from her days on Soundcloud called “Dindu Nuffin”. The title of the song happens to be a derogative term that originated on racist chatrooms such as 4chan to mock and criticize African American victims of police brutality during the numerous uprisings throughout 2014 and 2015. Some users were angry upon the discovery of the song.
Doja Cat also landed in some trouble back in 2018 when Twitter uses also found some of her old tweets from 2015 where Doja allegedly used a homophobic slur. She has since apologized for the insensitive tweets. During this current controversy, the tweets have come to light again.
